ACF Repeater Support for Elementor

A WordPress plugin that bridges ACF Repeater fields with Elementor, enabling dynamic content layouts without code.

The Gap

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is one of WordPress’s most powerful tools. Its Repeater field lets you create flexible, structured data that can repeat infinitely—perfect for team members, testimonials, pricing tables, or any list-based content.

Elementor Pro is the go-to page builder for designers who want visual control without touching code.

The problem? These two tools don’t talk to each other properly. Elementor Pro has no native way to loop through ACF Repeater rows and render them with custom templates. You either write PHP, use hacky workarounds, or give up on visual design altogether.

The Solution

Repeater Support bridges this gap with a dedicated Elementor widget that makes ACF Repeaters first-class citizens in the page builder.

Template-Based Rendering

Design a template once in Elementor, then let the plugin render it for each repeater row. Full visual control over every element—typography, spacing, colors—without touching code.

Nested Repeater Support

ACF supports repeaters inside repeaters. So does our plugin. Build complex data structures and render them visually, no matter how deep the nesting goes.

Flexible Row Filtering

Not every row needs to show. Filter by position (first, last, odd, even), limit the count, or select specific ranges. Perfect for showing “featured” items or paginating content.

Third-Party Integration

Works alongside JetEngine and other query plugins. Pull data from custom queries while still using our templating system for output.

How It Works

The workflow is straightforward:

  1. Create your ACF Repeater field as you normally would
  2. Design an Elementor template for how each row should look
  3. Drop the widget where you want the repeater to appear
  4. Select your field and template—done

Each row renders with the template you designed, inheriting all your styling choices. Grid layouts, flex containers, responsive breakpoints—it all works as expected.

Technical Details

The plugin hooks into Elementor’s widget system and ACF’s field API to create a seamless bridge between structured data and visual output. Dynamic tags let you pull individual subfields into any Elementor element.

Key features:

  • Shortcode fallback for use outside Elementor contexts
  • Container-level styling for layout control
  • Selective field output with custom return types
  • Full Elementor Pro compatibility (required dependency)

Business Model

Repeater Support uses Freemius for licensing and distribution. A free trial lets users test all features before committing. Pricing scales from single-site licenses to agency plans, with lifetime options available.
